Despite humid weather we went down to Underfall Yard with Oil paints. Discovered earlier this week thunder flys like oil paint so left a Field in Barrow Gurney looking like a fly paper. There was a striking big boat on the dry dock so it was worth the effort.
The propeller was difficult to draw and it was hard to believe all the blades were the same size because as they twist 'mobius strip' style into their housing - perspective and angle create challenges. But of course they must be the same size - otherwise boat would not steer straight.
Festival of the Sea this weekend so plenty of boats around.
